Description : This parcel has perfect southerly exposure on the hill of Corton and lies on a bedrock outcrop towards the bottom of the slope. The soil is a rusty red colour, rich in marl which gives the wines such distinct aromas. This wine is concentrated, rich and
expressive in its abundant aromatics. In the mouth, blackcurrant aromas are very present and the finish is often complex and long. It is mineral-driven, more elegantthan powerful and will age particularly well. This wine possesses the elegance that we
expect from a Côte d’Or Grand Cru.
Tasting note : This Corton offers us its best intense ruby-red robe. The bouquet is deliciously perfumed with blackberry and strawberry, lightly jammy. On tasting, we recognize the toasted notes from the barrel. Structured and powerful .
Suggested Food : Match Roasted hare, young partridge and truffles, duck ‘à l’orange’, matured cheese
Serving temperature : Between 15 & 16°C
