Description : The Chevalier Montrachet sits higher up the same hillside as the Montrachet. The vineyard of « Les Demoiselles », which is now Louis Latour’s property, acquired its name because it was previously owned by two sisters who died unmarried at the end of the last century but having achieved a reputation for the outstanding quality of their wines. The wine is bright gold in colour with opulence and rich and complex fruit and honey aromas. It offers great body twinned with a mellowness that leads to an
intense and persistent savour.
